A typical MochiiJS project follows this structure:
my-app/
├── src/
│ ├── components/
│ │ └── layout.js
│ └── pages/
│ ├── templates/
│ ├── index.js
│ └── about.js
├── mochii-config.js
└── package.jsonsrc/pages/
This directory contains your application pages.
For example:
index.js— your homepage.about.js— an additional page.templates/— a directory for reusable page templates.
MochiiJS supports keeping templates/ inside src/pages/ without treating that directory as a regular page.
src/components/
Store reusable UI components here, such as layouts, navigation bars, and other shared elements.
mochii-config.js
Use this file for your MochiiJS project configuration, according to the configuration options supported by your release.
JSX Syntax
MochiiJS uses class rather than React's conventional className attribute in JSX.
Example:
export default function About() {
return (
<div class='about'>
<h1>About Us</h1>
<p>Welcome to my MochiiJS application.</p>
</div>
);
}Use class consistently in your JSX.
Updating MochiiJS
To install the latest published release, run the installer again:
curl -fsSL https://mochiicorp.com/install/mochiijs.sh | bashFor existing projects, run npm install whenever you change the project's dependencies.
